  27.    Duplicare(TM) (also known as the Roman Numeral Calculator for Windows) 
  28. is a Windows(TM) 3.1 calculator for Roman numbers.  The requirements 
  29. are Windows 3.1 itself and 40K of disk space.  Both Roman numerals
  30. and arabic numerals may be entered from the keyboard or by clicking
  31. buttons with the mouse.  Addition, subtraction and multiplication
  32. are provided.  Since negative numbers were not used in ancient times
  33. they are not available here.  Zero cannot be directly entered either.
  34. Numbers that are greater than about 32000 are too large to be 
  35. conveniently handled by Roman numbers as implemented here, and are 
  36. also not available.

  38.    A transfer facility, a backspace facility and an equals button
  39. are provided.  These enable you to output the calculation in
  40. either arabic or roman numerals.

  43. Installation
  44. ------------

  46.    To install, run setup.exe from the distribution diskette.
  47. You can use the Run option under File in the menu bar of
  48. Program Manager, or you may open File Manager and click
  49. on setup.exe on the B drive (assuming this is the drive the
  50. floppy disk is in.)

  53.    Enter the information requested by setup.  When all the 
  54. information is properly entered, Duplicare, the Roman Numeral
  55. Calculator will be available via icon in the Windows group you 
  56. have chosen.

  63. version.  It is available as a Windows help file.
